The Duchess of Sussex loves a good blazer dress.
The Duchess of Sussex bid farewell to Australia in a tuxedo-style dress at the Invictus Games Closing Ceremony.
Looks like the unicorn effect is still very much "in."
A primer on the most popular styles from the runways in London.
With some Balmain and Valentino mixed in.
A Cate Blanchett red carpet moment is like snow leopard -- so rare, beautiful and mystifying. But now that awards season is upon us, the Blue Jasmine actress is set to debut a series of daring and flawless fresh off-the-runway looks. And we're keeping track.
Doing side plank hip lifts (with an apparent headache, no less) on a leather couch has never looked so sexy.
This dress looks very familiar.
London went beyond the call of duty with Heathers references to so-bad-it's-good rebel chic.
London Fashion Week was a whirlwind--and we're not just saying that. It felt way longer than a few days and not because it wasn't fun, but because so much happened.
Although the audience arrived in a grump to Antonio Berardi's early-morning show, the clothes more than made up for the inconvenience. The show notes told us to expect “a more laissez-faire attitude” than previous seasons. This was quite a surprise from the man who’s best known for his tiny, form-fitting dresses, who showed three-foot-long crystal trains on capes last season.
This week, we were quite impressed with Beyoncé's super chic performance outfit, and Amanda Seyfried's super chic side boob-revealing red carpet frock--both from Gucci. We also got weirded out by Downton Abbey's Lady Mary and Lady Edith showing up in modern times--looking really cute in Elie Saab and Moschino, respectively. Not to be outdown, Anna Wintour proved chicest of them all in a custom Dior number. Click through for all that and the rest of this week's best dressed.
As much as she doesn't want us to say this... Ireland Baldwin looks an awful lot like her mom in her new Vanity Fair shoot. {E! Online} Estée Lauder is releasing its first new scent in a decade. Called "Modern Muse," the print campaign features none other than Ms. Muse herself--Arizona, that is. {WWD, Subscription required.} The side-ass Antonio Berardi dress Gwyneth Paltrow wore to an Iron Man 3 premiere is giving the designer a hefty--and much welcomed--boost in business. {Telegraph} Speaking of sheer outfits... if you never thought you'd want to see what Ellen DeGeneres looks like wearing Cher's infamous "If I Could Turn Back Time" bodysuit, trust us: You do. {US Weekly}
When Gwyneth Paltrow hit the red carpet earlier this week wearing a sheer paneled Antonio Berardi dress all we could focus on was her incredibly perky side ass, on display for all to see. But that dress could have potentially revealed a lot more than Paltrow's toned-by-Tracy-Anderson rear. Turns out People's "Most Beautiful Woman" doesn't do regular bikini line maintenance, making for a potentially prickly situation, and making us really really like her.
Burberry debuted their new nail polish line in a sultry dark, classic red. More specifically, in oxblood. And it wouldn't be a Burberry show without a trench coat or two to match. It wasn't long before we noticed the color showing up elsewhere in London.
Playing the name game in London is far from easy: So many cool young designers, so many unusual names, and only a week to make sense of them all. It’s largely due to the aversion many Brit design talents have to being crafted into the sort of the fashion celebs we adore stateside. No worries; the clothes spoke volumes for themselves, as London dialed down the quirked, and turned out one of the most sophisticated seasons in recent years. See for yourself!
New show reviews and galleries are in from London! Check out Richard Nicoll, Matthew Williamson, and Antonio Berardi.
The show notes promised a collection inspired by Oscar Niemeyer’s "Brasilia," the city constructed entirely in swirling, sculptural concrete in the late 1950’s. An interesting reference, and one that lends itself incredibly well to the master of architectural clothing, Antonio Berardi.
