Tumblr Pairs Bloggers with Designers for New York Fashion Week
For the past six seasons, Tumblr--the preferred blogging platform of fashion--has, in some way, shape or form, been involved with New York Fashion Week. After hitting a bump a few seasons ago, they're revamping their whole approach for the upcoming shows.
Robert Pattinson Perches on a Roof for Dior, Karlie Kloss Strips for BLK DNM, and Justin Bieber Brawls Over a Bowtie
Robert Pattinson's first ad for Dior Homme Fragrance is finally here, but you can barely see him--and sadly, he's not shirtless. Come on, Dior, we wanted to gaze longingly into R. Patz's eyes--or abs! {Dior's Twitter} Shoe designer Sam Edelman is expanding his empire from the feet up to produce a line of sportswear. His ideal customer is a girl who lives on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter... pretty sure he's pegged like 80% of the population there. {WWD, subscription required} Justin Bieber apparently got into a fight involving an H&M bowtie... but what's even more ridiculous is that he had his bodyguards beat up a fellow club-goer "like he was in Die Hard." Grow up, dude. It's time. {The Cut}
Faceless Supermodels are So 'In' for the Fall Campaigns
Brands shell out big bucks every season to get the biggest faces in fashion to front their campaigns. But the trend this season, somewhat curiously, seems to be steering clear of faces altogether.

Khloe Kardashian And Hubby Kaught In Kopyright Trouble With New York State: NY Governor Andrew Cuomo has threatened to sue Rich Soil, the t-shirt company owned by Khloe's husband Lamar Odom, if it continues to sell t-shirts that feature a knock-off of the state's logo.
Nicole Kidman Didn't Wear Anne Hathaway's Discarded Valentino, More Jewelry Stolen From Cannes, and Georgia May Jagger Does L'Officiel
JK! In spite of reports saying otherwise, Valentino says the ivory gown Nicole Kidman wore at Cannes yesterday was not the one Anne Hathaway ditched right before the Oscars. {US Weekly} Cannes someone call security? A $2.6 million necklace went missing from Swiss jeweler de Grisogono's 20th anniversary high jewelry collection on Tuesday, just days after $1 million-worth of jewels were reported stolen from the film fest. {WWD, Subscription required.} Gisele Bundchen was apparently asking photographers to retake some shots of her that didn't turn out so well at the launch of her new BLK DNM campaign. Family photos must be a hoot! {NY Post} Speaking of Gisele, her younger sister Gabriela also attended the launch of the BLK DNM campaign to show some sibling support. {HuffPo}

Fashion News Roundup: Kate Moss's Arm is Paralyzed, Jude Law's Daughter Wears a Controversial Dress, and Uggs on the Sartorialist?
Kate Moss's Arm is Paralyzed: Don't freak out! It's only temporary. Lady Kate woke up in the Ritz Paris this past weekend to find herself unable to move her right arm and hand. Apparently the condition is caused by ulnar nerve entrapment, which, while nowhere near permanent, can take several months to totally disappear. Which means it might be a while till KM can work again-- though, with all the photoshopping that goes on, it probably wouldn't be much of a problem to edit Kate's limp limb. {Daily Mail} Jude Law's Daughter's Conversation-Starting Dress: 12-year-old Iris Law attended Vivienne Westwood's show, with mum Sadie Frost, wearing a little babydoll Peter Pan-collared dress covered in a conversation hearts print. Sounds adorable, right? Except that, upon closer inspection, the sugary hearts read some not-so-sweet phrases like 'Blow Me,' 'Please Drown,' and our favorite, 'Eat Shit.' Sadie later apologized to the disapproving public via Twitter, claiming the oversight was a #genuinemistake. {Styleite} High-End Retailers Are Doing Better Than Wal-Mart: For the ninth straight quarter, budget retail giant Wal-Mart is reporting major profit losses. But higher-end stores like Saks and Blommingdale's have reported increasing profits, with customers spending more on such luxury goods as high-priced jewelry. It seems that Wal-Mart reduced its prices so sharply over the holidays, it actually lost profit. Would raising its prices and quality of goods (with Macy's and Target-like collaborations, for example) help or hurt Wal-Mart? {New York Times}
