To introduce its Menswear Designer of the Year award last night, the CFDA gathered about 30 male models and presumably bribed them with pizza and Bud heavies into performing the groovy tune on camera--all while showcasing the nominated collections.
The 2013 CFDA awards, fashion's Oscars if you will, will be handed out in mere hours. The industry has been gathering to recognize and honor its leading talents since 1981. A lot has changed since the early years of the awards. What was once a small intimate industry event is now a widely covered celebrity event. Along with Adam Kimmel and C.P. Company, Michael Bastian is definitely at the top of our list of menswear designers we wish would create a runway coll
