Miha is a new contemporary label based in New York. Named after the Spanish term of endearment, "my daughter," Miha is in its second season and so far, we are kind of in love with it. Available at Nordstrom (and, not surprisingly, generating interest from other major department stores), Miha is not the first label to create chic, grungy wears for cool girls, but they are doing so with interesting details and construction on a sophisticated level that makes them worth watching. The brand’s Holiday collection, called “English Rose,” channels Ziggy Stardust-era David Bowie, combined with the dandyism of Oscar Wilde. For each piece, one bold shape, print or texture is taken as far as it can go before crossing the fine line between fun and completely over the top.
