It was very cool and very French in Los Angeles on Thursday night at the party celebrating the first year of the Isabel Marant boutique on leafy, intimate Melrose Place in West Hollywood. Like the best hostess, Marant floated around the party throughout the night, seemingly hugging and kissing everyone.
Justin Timberlake is flaunting his super studliness all over the cover of T Magazine. {T} Iconic fashion photographer Peter Lindbergh believes that the era of the supermodel is over. Don't tell Karlie... {Telegraph} Speaking of, Karlie Kloss has confirmed that her model pal Cara Delevingne flew in yesterday to catch the last day of New York Fashion Week (Marc Jacobs, perhaps?). Name: Greg Weinstein What do you do? I'm Editor-in-Chief of Crosby Press. What's your biggest pet-peeve? I hate the kale, quinoa, healthy food craze. I'm all about orange soda and Cool Ranch Doritos at Soho House. What are you wearing?
Believe it or not, designers and PR companies have already begun to prep for fashion week. What does that mean for you? Internship listings galore! C
This week there were two appropriately summery parties to launch the new eyewear collections of two iconic American brands. Tommy Hilfiger celebrated its first foray into eyewear--and its yearlong 25th anniversary--with a party at the James Hotel in NYC and a movie dedicated to surfers. Oliver Peoples hosted an intimate gathering of bloggers who were invited to hang out with founder Larry Leight, try on sunglasses, and eat fancy barbecue. Did you ever wonder how Oliver Peoples, now owned by Luxottica, got its name?
The sunglasses that went down the spring runways were anything but boring. Labels like Prada, Dior, and Jil Sander showed colorful, eccentric shades that were out of this world. We've rounded up a mix of cool cat eye, retro, and '60s-style sunnies that anyone can pull off as things brighten up.

We're Fashionista. Of course we like sunglasses. But this year, it seems to be the accessory of choice: The Thing everything wants to get their hands on. Who cares if they're from The Row or Target? As long as they look good, we're happy. So we've rounded up the season's best. We'll be following up later today with a few longer features on the world of sunnies, so stay tuned. **All graphics by Steff Yotka.
