What the Students Say:

“It might be pretty easy to get in, but it's really tough to try to stay and graduate. Workload can be extremely crazy due to the quarter system and the breaks in between are really short, but it really is worth it cause we get to graduate faster. Teachers are helpful but try to do yourself a favor by not skipping class (if possible), you can really miss a lot even if it's just one class."

"Know that it is a LOT of work, hard work. You might want to say goodbye to your social life most of the time, but in all, it is WORTH IT!"

"It's an awesome place to start. The staff really care about your future and I love the class sizes."

"It would be more useful if my school had more connections to make sure that we all got jobs that we wanted in the fashion industry."

"The institution offers many opportunities but they won't hold your hand or guide you through them; you have to be very proactive in finding ways to propel your future career."

The Bottom Line: A great vocational and design school for practical experience and they have an incredible career database for placement post-graduation — 90% of students who are in touch with the school report that they've found a job within six months of graduation. The top spot if you want to pursue costume design.
