The Bottom Line: Howard's BFA program focuses on product development, as well as fashion's role in the broader study of design. The school is of course one of the country's most celebrated HBCUs and it's located in a city with more professional opportunities than those in smaller towns, though it's also one of the priciest. The school also hosts regular career fairs and has partnered with DC Fashion Week and IMG.
