What the Students Say:

"Istituto Marangoni is one of the best fashion schools in the world. You get to know people from all over the world who are obsessed with fashion. If you're a fashion addict, your home is there."

"There is no test to get in, so you may find yourself surrounded by classmates who actually know nothing about real fashion. Some teachers are really GREAT but others... not so much. There are not many classes/hours, but you have a lot of work to do. No help finding an internship while you're studying until your last year."

"It is a very expensive school for Europe. You just do 6 classes of 2 hours and 30 minutes a week. They have no plans of improving it or listening to students. Teachers are pretty unprepared. (It's common to see written things like "Ann" Wintour, "Dian" Von Furstenberg....or saying that McQueen was at Givenchy 'til 2007). I strongly discourage guys to come here."

The Bottom Line: While student feedback for Istituto Marangoni wasn't all positive, it boasts an 80 percent placement rate and has educated some of the most successful people in the business. It also offers campuses in seven cities with fashion career opportunities (as listed above) and teaches courses in various languages.
