What the Students Say:
"Polimoda is an incredibly good start for your fashion career. It's tough but worth it, most of the teachers are really capable and will help you if you need it, if they know you work hard and you are serious about what you're doing I assure you, the teachers and staff will always be there if you need help or you're in a crisis. The only thing I don't like about this school is that it's way too expensive for what it offers: you have to buy everything you need for working, from the needles to the mannequins. Of course you can use mannequins and sewing machines whenever you want at school, but everything else is at your expenses. Overall I think it's a good place to start your life in the fashion world."
"It's too conceptual. We don't learn how to apply [our skills] in the real world."
"All the teachers are from the fashion industry, so it is very interesting and helpful to hear their own experiences!"
The Bottom Line: It's got a lot of high-tech equipment, industry connections, business curriculum and an 87 percent placement rate after graduation. More well-known for fostering careers outside of design.
