Meet the Editors
Dhani Mau is the editor in chief (and former west coast editor) of Fashionista, where she began her career as an intern. She quit New York in 2017, now residing in Los Angeles, but she can't seem to quit Fashionista.
Ana Colón is the deputy editor at Fashionista. She previously worked at Refinery29 and Glamour. Ask her about her dogs.
Stephanie Saltzman is Fashionista's beauty director. She studied journalism at the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University and previously worked as a digital editor at Allure.
Hailing from Chicago, Andrea Bossi is a New York-based beauty and fashion writer for Fashionista. Across both beauty and fashion, she is interested in how they map on to the pulse of culture and intersect unexpectedly with other realms. The Harvard alum, who studied psychology and neuroscience, is also intrigued by the sheer allure of creative makeup looks, innovative fashions, and mystical styling.
Bossi is also a contributor at Forbes and has previously contributed to Business Insider, Bloomberg, Byrdie, The Zoe Report and Sweet July. Her poetry and other writing can be found via her website.
Angela is a New York-based staff writer at Fashionista specializing in all things fashion and beauty. She is also a fine artist primarily working with large-scale acrylic pieces.
Originally from Vancouver, she graduated from Barnard College at Columbia University, where she studied Art History and Visual Arts. Angela has previously interned at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, V Magazine, Garage Magazine, Vice and assisted stylists on sets such as American Vogue and Harper's Bazaar UK. Feel free to connect with her in English, French or Mandarin on her social channels or visit her website.
Born and raised in Memphis, India Roby is a staff writer for Fashionista, covering a wide range of topics within the fashion and beauty zeitgeist, including but not limited to breaking news, shopping guides and the hottest trends.
In 2021, India graduated from The New School with Bachelor's Degrees in Journalism and Design, and a minor in Fashion Communication. She was previously the fashion writer at Nylon, and her bylines have also appeared in Teen Vogue, Byrdie, V Magazine and VMAN, among others. In her free time, India enjoys brushing up on her Korean, making TikTok videos and over-drafting her bank account.
Maura Brannigan is the editor at large at Fashionista. You may have previously recognized her byline as senior editor at Fashionista, but before that, she worked in digital at magazines like Lucky (RIP) and Marie Claire.
Maura both grew up and spent her college years in Chicago, during which she: a) interned at a number of culture-focused city magazines, and b) consumed an inordinate amount of deep dish pizza. You'll often find her writing about business, retail, media and pop culture, as well as how fashion intersects all of the above.
Fawnia Soo Hoo is a contributing editor at Fashionista and a freelance fashion, beauty and lifestyle writer. Previously, she worked in public relations and events management, but found her calling after covering (and surviving) New York City sample sales for Racked NY. Pop culture is her one true love, so she'll always find a way to work all her favorite CW TV shows into one fashion story. She has also written for Refinery 29, Teen Vogue, Elle and Glamour.
