What the Students Say:
"I have been able to do five internships throughout my five years of school. I feel very prepared to start working once I graduate. I have been able to make a lot of connections through our co-op program."
"The University of Cincinnati, school of Design, Architecture, Art and Planning, is an amazing place to get your foot in the door of large fashion corporations. The school prepares you for your future in the industry by making internships mandatory, this has you finish school with five internships."
"Literally the only good thing is the co-op program."
"An amazing design school and it's one of the best choices I have ever made. Bonus: public school tuition for private design school quality!"
The Bottom Line: While this isn't the most elite design school and its graduation and job placement rates are relatively low, it's famous for its unique co-op program that includes five semesters of work study, which means students have plenty of real-world experience before graduation. It was also one of the few public universities to make our list, and is one of the most affordable, especially if you're an Ohio resident.
