New programs and partnerships of note:

  • In 2018, under the direction of Professor Andrew Groves, Westminster aligned the BA Fashion Design course with the international fashion calendar, which meant that the course became the first undergraduate course in the world to be invited to show on the official London Fashion Week schedule.
  • Recently launched the Westminster Menswear Archive, which is the only public menswear archive in the world.
  • Acquired a StyleShoots photography machine to catalogue both the archive and all student output from the Fashion Design students. It is the only university in the world to own one of these machines.
  • A private recruitment event at the end of the school year at The Ace Hotel in London so that recruiters and designers can view the students' portfolios.

The Bottom Line: This is another fashion program within a wide-reaching university. It's competitive to get in, is affiliated with the British Fashion Council, and boasts one of the strongest internship programs we've seen. Over 90 percent of graduates get jobs in the industry.
