With a new in-house venture launching very soon.
Brands and retailers are learning that the key to appealing to plus-size shoppers is by offering an extended -- rather than simply a large -- range of sizes.
Yesterday the Fashion Law Institute celebrated its third anniversary with a showcase at Lincoln Center; the show featured six designers hand-picked by the Institute for their talent. But there was one designer who stood out from the rest: Eden Miller of Cabiria, which just officially became the first plus size line to show at New York Fashion Week.
Despite the fact that the average American woman is now a size 14, it seems like the fashion world is less plus-friendly than ever. So what gives?
