Thanks to Project Runway, Tim Gunn kind of feels like the fashion industry's favorite uncle: Incredibly kind, not afraid to be honest with you when you need it, a cheerleader in the workroom with his famous catchphrase, "Make it work." But even Gunn knows that it's hard to "make it work" when there's so little to work with--an issue that's currently facing the plus size fashion community.
Gisele's not the only one who needs no retouching: Beyoncé apparently "hit the roof" when she found out H&M had edited her photos for its summer ad campaign and refused to let them be used, forcing the retailer to use the original images of her flawless, un-airbrushed body. {Telegraph} Whoa, boy! When Net-a-porter throws a party, it goes all out. Saturday night, NAP's Natalie Massenet, Lucy Yeomans, and Alison Loehnis hosted a pre-Met Ball, pre-Frieze party at Omar's, the as-yet unopnened private supper club on West 9th St. It was billed as a dinner, but quickly devolved into a several-hours-long cocktail hour with Valentino PR honcho Carlos Souza's sons serving as DJs. Everyone was there. Literally everyone. From Inez and Vinoodh to Karolina Kurkova to Olivier Theyskens to Jack McCullough and Lazaro Hernandez to Christopher Kane to Olivier Rousting to Carlyne Cerf de Dudzeele, the guest list was just purely bonkers. You couldn't blink without bumping into someone you felt embarrassed about bumping into. I spent the party trying to get the scoop on attendees Met Ball plans and punk pasts.
We thought Coachella ended Sunday, but at the AnOther Magazine/AnOther Man party at Milk Studios in Los Angeles on Tuesday, we felt like maybe there’s always a little Coachella in LA. Editor-in-Chief Jefferson Hack historically throws edgy, slightly unconventional, star-studded parties to fete his edgy, slightly unconventional, star-studded bi-annual publications. Partnering with Milk Studios co-owner Mazdack Rassi, Hack did not deviate from his fail-safe formula, with stars like Joshua Jackson, Orlando Bloom, Andrej Pejic, Liz Goldwyn, Sky Ferreira, Frankie Rayder, and China Chow packed into Milk’s airy and gorgeous LA digs.

What fashion magazine hasn't done some sort of Warhol-inspired shoot? We don't know. So when recently-launched Du Jour took on the task of an editorial inspired by Nars's new Andy Warhol collection, they really had no choice but to do something special. And they delivered.

We've seen a lot of provocative editorials and magazine covers featuring Andrej Pejic and read some of his more controversial quotes and tweets, but
It's not unusual for androgynous model Andrej Pejic to shock people with his gender-bending editorials, but this time he's done it on Twitter. The model-of-the-moment seems to have re-discovered "Maurica" and "her" hilarious viral YouTube videos (see below)--a parody dating profile of a transvestite from the LES looking for "a real white nigga," ideally from Westchester. Anyway, this weekend, Pejic tweeted, Take Me to Westchester to which a friend replied But you went without me *sigh* RT @Andrej_Pejic: Take me to Westchester! to which Pejic replied @Remdelarem found a real white nigga which, out of context at least, looks pretty bad.
