Celebrity Stylist Cher Coulter on What It's Like to Dress an A-lister for a Massive, Global Press Tour
Summer is almost here, and for major movie stars, that means one thing: Blockbuster season. While we line up at the box office to see movies like The Great Gatsby or Star Trek: Into Darkness, starlets run a worldwide marathon of premieres, interviews, and even film festivals like Cannes, each one requiring a different outfit.. It is undoubtedly glamorous--but it's also a lot of hard work for their stylist. We wanted to know just what kind of work goes into planning a celebrity's wardrobe for a media tour, so we caught up with Cher Coulter--stylist to Rosie Huntington-Whitely, Kate Bosworth and Sienna Miller, just to name a few--to get all the behind-the-scenes details on press prep.

Read on for more about Coulter's design ambitions, whether she'll do reality tv, and clients who learn a little too much from her.

Of course, we can't forget about the Obama girls, who are getting more attention for their style choices these days. And in more immediate news, Michelle Obama made a big change by cutting bangs for her birthday this week.

Road to the Red Carpet: Celeb Stylist Cher Coulter's Golden Globes Diary
Cher Coulter is one of Hollywood’s top stylists. She was named one of The Hollywood Reporter’s top 25 stylists this year and her client list includes perennial best dressed list-ers Kate Bosworth, Sienna Miller, and Elizabeth Olsen. For the Golden Globes, she dressed an impressive four clients: Sienna Miller, Nicole Richie, Rosie-Huntington-Whitely, and Huntington’s beau Jason Statham. We asked her to keep a diary of the whole process, which she says is “VERY competitive”--especially considering this is a “difficult time for fashion.” What she means is that the new couture collections are just days away, summer is long gone, and it’s “too early in the season to pull anything new.” Somehow Coulter managed just fine.

Names, addresses, phone numbers, and partial credit card numbers were accessed, causing the e-tailer to encourage its customers to change their password information for the Zappos site, as well as modify passwords for accounts on other sites if they were the same. We will never understand the motives behind hacking, but whoever caused all this trouble better have ordered themselves a good pair of Nikes to run in once the cops come looking for them! {CNN Money} Taylor Swift Wants to Bake Cookies With Karlie Kloss: The Vogue cover girl (interrupted) reveals this and many more fascinating tidbits like how "awkward" she was in middle school and that her next album will be about (surprise!) heartbreak. {Vogue}
