What fashion magazine hasn't done some sort of Warhol-inspired shoot? We don't know. So when recently-launched Du Jour took on the task of an editorial inspired by Nars's new Andy Warhol collection, they really had no choice but to do something special. And they delivered.
Elle.com Loses Over Half of Its Editorial Team
Major shakeups have gone down on Elle.com's editorial side. Everyone's jumping ship! As a few media outlets have already reported, Keith Pollock, Elle.com's editorial director, is leaving to become editor in chief of Du Jour--a new digital and print editorial publication launching in collaboration with Gilt Groupe. What we didn't know until recently is that he will be bringing Elle.com's market editor, Sydney Wasserman, and art director Stephanie Jones, with him to his new gig (Jones will be the art director, Wasserman the senior market editor). So that's about half of Elle.com's editorial staff right there. And that's not all... Britt Aboutaleb, former editor of this site and Elle.com's fashion news editor, is not only leaving Elle--she's leaving New York! And fashion! Sort of!

Erin Wasson to front Rockport Campaign: The model-turned-jewelry designer is going back in front of the camera as the face of Rockport's Fall 2012 campaign. The shoe brand hopes that Wasson will help emphasize the "stylish" aspect of these shoes, which are worn mostly for comfort. {WWD subscription required} Beard and Mustache Accessories Are a Thing?: It seems hipster girls are always trying to (ironically) look as unattractive as possible, thus making them more attractive to male hipsters. Refinery 29 found some chained accessories that attach to sunglasses, and hang down to create a "beard." Weird. {Refinery 29} Paris' Galleria to Unveil Balenciaga Exhibit: To honor the 40th anniversary of the designer's death, the Galleria in Paris will debut a Balenciaga tribute this Friday. The show, "Cristóbal Balenciaga, Collectionneur de Modes" ("Cristóbal Balenciaga, Collector of Fashion") features a wealth of 18-20th century Spanish clothing, which was a great inspiration for the designer. {WWD subscription required}
