America's Next Top Model reject Fatima Siad is Hervé Léger's mane (see what we did there?) chick, while Karlie Kloss smolders with sweet ferocity for
Ever since America's Next Top Model began 17 'cycles' ago, there's been a "curse" attached to alums of the show: no one who had ever been on ANTM could book a real modeling job. But it seems like the curse is lifting. First Fatima Siad, a runner-up from Cycle 10, walked the runways for Dries Van Noten and Hermès this season, and told The Cut she's booked Hervé Léger's spring 2012 campaign. And now last season's winner, Brittani Kline, has landed a six page editorial in Vogue Mexico--a job totally unrelated to her ANTM prize spread in Beauty in Vogue for Vogue Italia, which was also just released.
Coincidence or trend? Former ANTM contestant Fatima Siad appears in Arise #13 with red rose petals in her mouth, while pretty-boy Andrej Pejic covers Follow #5 with a similar red flower in his mouth. Let's only hope this inspires an ANTM challenge in which the contestants are forced to wear the same outfits and do the same poses as some feminine male models. You know it's a good idea Tyra. But back to the issue at hand - who do you think works the flowery look better: Miss Fatima or Mr. Andrej?
