You really, REALLY need to see what Channing Tatum wore for P Diddy's runway show back in 2003. {BuzzFeed} We'll take any excuse for Clueless to be newsworthy again! The movie turns 18 this year, so here's an interview with its genius costume designer. {MTV Style} Whoa--she's always had a vintage vibe, but Lana del Rey looked like a '60s blueberry at her concert in Russia. Also, that powder blue eyeshadow looks like it came out of a "Video Game"... is that what you were going for, Lana? {Daily Mail} Sofia Coppola makes pajamas look sexy like she always does in Vogue Australia's August issue. {Fashion Gone Rogue}
We caught up with '90s supermodel, photographer, iconic music video babe, and now, handbag designer to discuss her latest collaboration, breast sizes, and why she defended Kim Kardashian.
Because a palace with a moat obviously isn't enough for a family of five, Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen are now house hunting in the West Village! {NY Post} Cara Delevingne dyed her famous eyebrows blue. See it to believe it. {InStyle UK} Angelina Jolie looked bewitching (literally) in Saint Laurent--and some serious engagement ring bling--at a charity event yesterday in NYC. {US Weekly} It seems Kate Middleton was none too pleased when a child presented her with a "lookalike" doll on her Scotland romp! Here's why... {Daily Mail}

After Sandy ripped through New York, leaving most of Manhattan below 34th Street in darkness and under water, the fashion pack--including Anna Wintour, Grace Coddington, Marc Jacobs, Mary-Kate Olsen and more--have been forced to relocate to higher ground. Here's where they're staying. Way to hold it down at the Marriott Chris Benz!
Yes, the refrain of the evening at last night's over-the-top Margiela for H&M bash was obviously "What's that jacket, Margiela?" For the record, Kanye was wearing Margiela (well, Margiela for H&M anyway) and when we spotted him somewhere around the 7th floor he was all smiles which I take to mean that drunk fashion people (there were many, many well-stocked bars) weren't shouting his own rap lyrics at him. Good job people!
Following the success of the first installment, H&M has released a second round of ads featuring Lana Del Rey. {Elle UK} Marion Cotillard was the first celebrity lucky enough to wear Raf Simons' debut Dior couture collection and now she's also the first celeb to wear his latest ready-to-wear collection. It's a black dress and she looks stunning. Lucky girl. {Vogue UK} Between the questionable skorts suit and this very see-through skirt, Kim Kardashian might consider firing her stylist. Alas, it's not that simple when you're dating him. {HuffPo}
The Tribeca Film Festival kicked off last night in New York and it brought out a pretty chic red carpet. The party was held at the State Supreme Court
Helena Christensen was one of many, many famous faces at last night's Versace for H&M extravaganza but no one looked better in that black Versace for H&M LBD. We chatted with the supermodel during the "cocktail hour" about her latest turn as a music video star in Duran Duran's just-released vid for "Girl Panic." While the nearly 10 minute long video featuring stellar performances by Naomi Campbell, Eva Herzigova, Cindy Crawford, Helena Christensen and Yasmin Le Bon as members of Duran Duran, truth be told we liked Christensen's performance as hard partying drummer Roger Taylor best. We caught up with the smoldering supermodel (seriously her eyes are distracting) at the "cocktail" hour before the runway show.
Last night Versace and H&M pulled out all the stops--and we mean all of them--to put on a runway show and party to celebrate their collaboration, which hits stores on November 19. Pier 57 was transformed into "Versace Hall" complete with a mirror-walled cocktail lounge (made to resemble Versace's show space in Milan) and a wood paneled runway in a pattern that seemed to mimic Versace's Greek fret motif (and also ensured everyone got a front row seat). Everyone except Anna Wintour was there (and maybe she was and we just didn't see her?): performers Prince and Nicki Minaj (wearing an enormous green wig and sequined Versace for H&M) sat to watch the show; celebs, all dressed in h-to-t Versace for H&M, included Blake Lively, Uma Thurman, Jessica Alba, Chace Crawford, Chloe Moretz, Jennifer Hudson and Alan Cumming; there were designers aplenty from Joseph Altuzarra to Alexander Wang to Christopher Kane; in keeping with the collection's '90s theme, '90s supermodels Linda Evangelista and Helena Christensen were there; and there were too many stylists and editors and socialites to count. "It looks good," Minaj told us about the collection as she walked the red carpet. "All the stuff they brought to my room today I was like, 'I'm keeping that!' Minaj confessed that she fell in her platform Versaces during the filming for her Superbass video but she said, "I'm not taking them off, fashion is pain, and I'm keeping them on, and Superbass went on to be such a big song, so maybe Versace's good luck."

Yesterday we got a glimpse of the December Harper's Bazaar UK cover featuring the original supermodels (though it was sadly missing the always-fascinating Linda Evangelista). Today the issue hit newsstands, so we get to see the whole thing. Plus, the Duran Duran connection is finally explained.

We’re sure that when cavemen banged out rhythms on old animal skulls, all the most gorgeous cave girls immediately came running. While musicians have never had a hard time picking up women, it's safe to say MTV made it easier for them. The era of the model/musician relationship bloomed during the MTV era--models and musicians were frequently thrown together during video shoots, which was a job that hadn't existed for models before. MTV just turned 30, and to honor the music channel which helped to give musicians faces and personalities, here’s our roundup of the 30 best (and strangest) model/musician pairings through the years.
