And the Beckham family's latest home is predictably gorgeous.
The geniuses over at Access Hollywood have hired the stars of the Sochi Olympics to run red carpet fashion commentary, and we could not be happier about it.
How many fashion editors does it take to get out of an elevator at Oscar de la Renta?
Jersey Shore might be over, but that apparently doesn't mean seeing any less of J.Woww: The MTV star flashed a bit too much of herself at the network's New Year's show. {HuffPo} On Tumblr, 23-year-old Zara employee Francis Phommisai combines fashion editorials with Pokémon--and the results are kind of amazing. {Daily Beast} Crystal Harris finally wed her Playboy honey Hugh Hefner in a pink gown, which makes us wonder if this trend is finally over. {US Weekly} Meghan Collison goes under the sea for Mulberry’s spring campaign, shot by Tim Walker. {WWD}
While Fashion Week has drawn a lot of basketball players to its front rows this season, we've only come across one ice skater--and a very fashionable one at that. The incomparable Johnny Weir was front row at Timo Weiland's inaugural runway show last night (which was awesome, by the way, review and pics to come) and took some time to chat with us as we waited for the show to start. Johnny's gotten a lot of attention for his colorful and risk-taking style both on and off the ice. From an appearance on The Rachel Zoe Project, to a performance at last season's Elise Øverland show, to designing a range of dresses, Johnny is making his way through the fashion world with the same enthusiasm and energy he gives to his ice skating. See what he has to say about his attempts at color-blocking, his upcoming runway debut, and favorite designers, including Betsey Johnson, who is apparently making him a skating outfit. We can't wait to see it! What are you wearing? Birkin bag, Chopard jewelry and the rest is Timo. So, what do you like about Timo Weiland? I love them, especially for the men, they bring this amazing texture and pop of color for a guy and it’s really hard to do that and still make it masculine and edgy and interesting and Timo does, absolutely. What's your approach to getting dressed every day?

If you think fur is morally reprehensible or just tacky, I’d advise you to avert your eyes ASAP and move on to the next post. Lynx, kidassia (long goat hair), fox, broadtail, chinchilla, and alligator all made appearances at the Dennis Basso show. Dennis Basso is, first and foremost, a furrier. And let me tell you, his rabid fans were eating it up. I was in Aspen over the holidays this year and saw firsthand at his store there the amount of adoration that this man’s wares produce. He has groupies. And they were out in full force at Lincoln Center to support his fall collection. There were so many “moments” in the show:
Gaultier's Got a Crush on Andrej Pejic: Beautiful androgynous male model Andrej Pejic closed Gaultier's haute couture spring show dressed as a bride and stars in Gaultier's spring ad campaigns alongside his female doppel Karolina Kurkova. {Fashionologie and Styleite} Paris Hilton's Vogue Cover: Yes, it's true. Paris Hilton is on the cover of Vogue. Vogue Turkey, that is. Hilton was shot by Terry Richardson. {The Fashion Spot} Mrs. O Plays it Safe at the SOTU: Since the fallout from Michelle Obama's McQueen dress that she wore to the state dinner won't quit, she played it safe in a putty colored Rachel Roy sheath at the State of the Union last night. {Mrs.O} Miuccia Prada Would Never Do Fast Fashion: More from Miuccia Prada's extensive interview with WWD, "I have never even considered [fast fashion] and I’ve explained why. It’s because I don’t like the idea of a bad copy of what one does for the main brand. If I had an ingenious idea to do fashion that costs less but that wasn’t a bad copy of something else, with completely different criteria and ways of doing things, I would do it. Also for myself, it would be an ingenious idea. For now, what I see more or less is the bad copy. Also with clothes that cost little, you need to ask why they cost so little. Because no one ever asks themselves that." {WWD subscription required}

Breathless utterance about how ah-mazing their collection was. Ciao ciao. Beyond. 3. Could we see more fashion porn in every episode please? Loved the footage of the Milan shows. 4. When can Johnny Weir join the cast? I want to see him do excited claps every episode.
