Before They Were Supermodels They Were Super Adorable Kids
There's just something inherently enjoyable about looking at old baby photos. It's fun to see what people looked like when they were littler people. I saw this fancy gif on Fashin of all these supermodels morphing into their little kid selves and thought I'd troll the fashion webz for photos of today's top models before they were catwalk-strutting, glossy-page gracing, campaign-landing beauties. Take a look. **Images via What happens in Vegas…, Fashion Gone Rogue, and Fashin.
DNA Sues Ford Over Maryna Linchuk
Former Miss Dior Cherie, Maryna Linchuk, is a top model and a top money maker, so it's no wonder DNA was sad to see her part ways for Ford. Linchuk has been signed with DNA since 2006, and in those five years DNA says they have "invested heavily in promoting, marketing and managing Linchuk's career and professional image, preparing her for and helping her choose modeling assignments, shoots, etc., As a direct result of DNA's efforts, Linchuk has become a successful and sought after model," Reuters is reporting. All was well in DNA's house until April 15 of this year, when Linchuk suddenly announced her desire to leave the agency.
Fashion's Night Out: Where The Major Designers Will Be
Fashion's Night Out is two weeks from tomorrow! There is more going on than we can even wrap our heads around. Having trouble deciding where you want to go and who you want to see the most? Well, if you're interested in catching a peak of one of your favorite designers, here's a roundup of where some of the biggest and the best will be on September 10. We've excluded most of the people we've already reported on. Also, it's almost safe to say that if someone isn't on this list, they will probably be at Barneys. Michael Kors Michael will be at his lifestyle store on Madison and 61st in New York City. He will be joined by TONY Award winner Idina Menzel, whom Michael will accompany on a selection of songs. Michael will also make an appearance nearby at Bloomingdale’s 59th street, where the “World of Michael” will be created to kick off a new Michael Kors handbag shop-in-shop. Tommy Hilfiger Tommy will be kicking off FNO and his brand’s 25th anniversary at Macy’s Herald Square. As we’ve reported, Macy’s will house “The Ultimate Tailgate Party” as inspired by Tommy’s most recent ad campaign. Tommy will be accompanied by Macy’s CEO Terry Lundgren. He will also make an appearance at his Fifth Avenue store, where shoppers can have their purchases personalized with an exploding monogram while they shop, listen to DJ Toddlerone and drink up.
Natalie Portman Is the New Face of Parfums Christian Dior: But Which Will Be Her Signature Scent?
Natalie Portman is the latest A-lister to team up with Parfums Christian Dior. Other celebs who rep the brand's fragrances include Charlize Theron, Sharon Stone and Jude Law. But which scent will she pose for? Charlize does J'adore, and Sharon does Poison. So we're guessing it'll be Miss Dior Cherie. The fresh, youthful scent--which launched during the 2008 holiday season--hasn't had a new campaign since Sofia Coppola's lovely commercial starring model Maryna Linchuk. Natalie seems like the perfect choice to follow Maryna. Unless, of course, Dior is launching a new fragrance....
