This morning brought the surprising news that Paul Deneve would be leaving his post as CEO of Yves Saint Laurent after a couple of years with the company to join the "high-tech industry," as Kering put it. Rumor has it that that "high-tech industry" is Apple.
French fashion house Yves Saint Laurent is undergoing even more fundamental changes, if you can believe it. The company is following up its re-branding and hiring of a new creative director with the hiring of a new CEO.
The fashion press has pissed off YSL yet again. Keeping up this year's trend of open letters between fashion's power players, YSL CEO Paul Deneve wrote a not-so-favorable one to WWD, which the trade published today. Oh and he threw in a little dig to Cathy Horyn as well.
