People's Revolution Pulls Out of Show the Day Before
New York Fashion Week has already gotten off to a bit of a dramatic start. Yesterday, we got an email from PR and production agency People's Revolution noting the following: People's Revolution is canceling our participation in the David Tlale show, Thursday September 5 9:30am in the Box at Lincoln Center as we have not been paid. Please note no one from production will be in attendance. Very Best, People's Revolution Which we thought was strange, since the show would be taking place less than 24 hours later.
Kelly Cutrone On Janice Dickinson: 'She's an Erratic, Unpredictable Bitch'
If there is one person in the industry no one wants to piss off, it's Kelly Cutrone. [Ed. note: OK, really it's Anna Wintour, but she won't put your shit on blast like Cutrone.] The lifestyle guru, America's Next Top Model judge, and PR maven is known for telling it exactly how it is, no matter who it is. The most recent victim of her acid tongue? Janice Dickinson. Dickinson, who seems to enjoy running her mouth about anything in order to stir the pot, recently mouthed off about her former employer, Tyra Banks, calling her "soulless, heartless, and cold." We hung out with Cutrone recently (more on that later) and she told us she's "gotten really close with Tyra." So what did she think about the choice words Dickinson had for her Top Model boss?
Fashionista Week in Review: Kelly Cutrone Busts Her Thieving Ex-Assistant, Mark Zuckerberg Loses His Hoodie, and Penis Print Pants Exist
Dressing Up Zuckerberg: Zuckerberg may be disgustingly rich now, but even ringing the NASDAQ bell to celebrate taking Facebook public wasn't enough to get the Zuckster out of that damn hoodie. We got some of our favorite stylish dudes to play dress up with the Face of Facebook. Delivery.com-Addicted Assistant Steals from Kelly Cutrone: We would never steal a seat from PR powerhouse Kelly Cutrone, let alone money, but that's just what one crazypants assistant did. We talked to Cutrone, and she shared more unbelievable details about the situation. Good luck finding a fashion job now, kiddo. Carrie Bradshaw's Life Changing Accessory: According to Sarah Jessica Parker and Patricia Fields, our beloved Carrie Bradshaw may never have become the fashion plate we know her as without the Fendi Baguette. Kim K Will Be in Vogue: It's happening whether Anna Wintour likes it or not: Kim Kardashian will appear in L'Uomo Vogue. Kim Kardashian! In a Vogue!
Kelly Cutrone Tells Us More About Her Thieving Ex-Assistant, Says He Stole Her Credit Cards
Yesterday, we learned, thanks to a mini Twitter rampage by Kelly Cutrone, that one of her former assistants had stolen money from her company People's Revolution and would soon pay the price. Kelly called us yesterday and now we know a little bit more about Kelly vs. the thieving ex-assistant. First of all, she confirmed that the culprit is who we thought it was: the person she directed this tweet to, Brunson Stafford. He worked for Kelly for only a few months and was fired during this past fashion week. And he's been methodically stealing money from her for the past several months.
Kelly Cutrone's Ex-Assistant is Getting Arrested For Allegedly Stealing Money and Samples From People's Revolution
We know from watching The Hills, The City and Kell on Earth that Kelly Cutrone is pretty tough on her assistants--though as far as we know, she's never had one arrested. Until now. And she's really pleased about it.
