On the penultimate day of the New York shows, the fashion flock was craving a little comfort.
From mismatched polka dots and pretty pastels to deep purple paired with chartreuse, the ladies of New York Fashion Week are going for the bold.
Check out which well-dressed (and apparently, frostbite-immune) bloggers, editors, and models caught our eye on day two of #NYFW.
While the rest of the world was enjoying a nice, leisurely Sunday brunch, the fashion set was still working hard mid-fashion week. But just because it's a day of rest doesn't mean they left their sense of style at home! On day four, we saw the blogger La Petite Anglaise herself, Ella Catliff, as well as editors Caroline Issa and Christina Pérez.
New York fashion week doesn't rest during the weekend--and neither does our eye for street style! On day three, our camera caught up with queen of cool Erin Wasson, Tales of Endearment blogger Natalie Joos, The Wall Street Journal Magazine's Preetma Singh and more! Want to see what each of these flawlessly dressed ladies was wearing? Click on through.
On day six, we caught up with the lovely likes of Joanna Hillman, Eva Chen, and that magical My Little Pony of a runway model, Chloe Nørgaard, outside some of the biggest shows of the season. Click on, style stars!
A little birdie told us there will be some girly outfit coordination going on at this year's Costume Institute Gala, which is less than two weeks away. The Vogue-hosted event will celebrate the opening of "Schiaparelli and Prada: Impossible Conversations" at the Met and we hear the hostesses--namely, Vogue editors, will be paying a little tribute to one of the exhibition's subjects by following a strict dress code: they all have to wear pink.
New York fashion week is officially upon us, and that means lots and lots of inspirational street style. Check out our top 5 favorite girls from day
Giovanna Battaglia, and Shala Monroque continued their dominion over the internet, but 2011 also introduced the world to a new crop of editors, stylists, and buyers who have envy-inducing style. The best part is watching someone's style grow dynamically in front of the lens. These aren't the girls putting on full looks from the runway, they're pulling items from their own wardrobes and mixing them with new trends. If there's anyone to idolize for having great style, we think it's this new bunch.
