Last year, the Emmy nominees for Outstanding Costumes for a Series were Boardwalk Empire, Downton Abbey, The Borgias, Game of Thrones, and Once Upon a Time. Game of Thrones obviously won, and we wouldn't be surprised if it went on a winning streak for the rest of its time on air. And we get it--those costumes are awesome, as are those of the other nominated shows. But is it fair that contemporary shows rarely get recognized for their costumes?
Revenge Costume Designer Talks Clothing Line
Earlier this month we learned that one of our favorite prime time soaps about rich people (yes, we have multiple favorites), Revenge, would be getting a clothing line. Details were sparse, and obviously we wanted to know more, so we rang costume designer Jill Ohannesson. Though a retail partner has yet to be confirmed, Ohannesson filled us in on what we can look forward to.
