Beckham and Simon Fuller have inked a deal with Global Brands Group.
The Beckhams are already at the top of the earnings food chain, and now they’re poised to go even further. While he already has two fragrances with Coty, David Beckham is launching a third in September called Homme by David Beckham. And now he’s taking it further than just fragrances--Beckham’s going to be a full-on lifestyle brand. He and his business partner, Simon Fuller (of American Idol and Spice Girls-producing fame), have an empire in mind. “David and I have a number of ambitious and exciting ideas in development across a broad range of categories," Fuller told WWD. "The next 10 years will see David evolve into being recognized, not just as an iconic sports figure, but also as an important entrepreneur.” Beckham recognizes that his career is winding down, though he says he plans to play soccer for a few more years. In addition to the fragrance, Beckham’s next launch is a men’s bodywear line.
