Can the supermodel handle some serious acting?
Real quote: “Helen Keller could have picked a better gown."
Oh Luo Zilin, you really didn't know what you were getting into when you started dating Naomi Campbell's billionaire ex-boyfriend, did you?
If there's one thing we've learned from Adam Levine and Leondardo DiCaprio it's that devoted modelizers will, perhaps inevitably, wind up dating their ex's friends. Naomi Campbell's ex-boyfriend Vladimir Doronin has now gone one step further and started dating his ex's protege, according to the Daily Mail.

Part of a trio of magazines that launched in 1980--which also included i-D and The Face--Blitz was the subversive fashion brainchild of university students Carey Labovitch and Simon Tesle. Former Blitz fashion editor Iain R. Webb has combined his impressive archive of photos with personal anecdotes from the models, photographers, and artists involved with each shoot for this unique take on the history of the mag in As Seen in BLITZ, out this month. Many of the images (including a rather unforgettable collage of Vogue editor Hamish Bowles in a Chanel twinset, a fresh-out-of-Parsons Marc Jacobs) haven't been seen since they were first published in the pages of Blitz 30 years ago. Here's what Webb had to say about Blitz's heyday.
1. After Devyn's panic attack, weren't you scared the rest of the episode that at any moment she might stop breathing again? 2. And how awkward was her crying on Nigel Barker's shoulder? Are the girls even close with him? Or was she just that overjoyed to be hugging Nigel Barker? 3. Am I the only one who really misses Stephanie? 4. Margeaux, what kind of pop quiz do you study for? ...Isn't that kind of the point of a pop quiz?
1. How hilarious was Stephanie's reaction when she pulled a condom out of her bag in the first challenge? It must have been planned so that the shyest, most awkward girl got that item. 2. Why was Zi Lin the only one who thought to suck up to that lady from US Weekly? 3. Who are these people who had to come to this fake red carpet and act interested in the models? 4. Whoah. When did the teams become segregated by race?

1. Shouldn't Karolina Kurkova and Coco Rocha be getting a bit more screen time? Or is The Face really just a vehicle for Team Naomi? 2. Was it really necessary for Amar'e Stoudemire to hold a basketball when he entered the room? Just, you know, in case it wasn't clear who he was after Nigel Barker's introduction five seconds earlier? 3. How great was it that Naomi mispronounced the word "pronunciation" when talking about Zi Ling's problems with it? 4. Where does Stephanie keep pulling these winning performances from? Nigel and Naomi were so excited (a little too excited?) by her test shoot.
1. Really, Devyn, is dancing the hardest test you've ever had to deal with? That seems...unlikely. 2. What sort of dance lessons has Jocelyn been taking? That test shoot was painful. 3. Why does Coco Rocha feel like she has to explain how non-biased judging works? 4. Didn't it kind of feel like Nigel Barker and the Marshalls lady were a couple of mean girls judging everyone during the lookbook shoot?
1. Is anyone else really distracted that all of Nigel Barker's "live" commentary and challenge explanations are actually pre-recorded audio? Is it that hard to converse on-camera (especially after 18 seasons of ANTM)? 2. How did Sandra not notice her boob completely hanging out as she went down the runway in the first challenge? That had to have been a little breezy. 3. Did Devyn really think being a tattletale would work out for her? Awkward! 4. Was there actually any purpose for this Kleinfeld runway show other than to judge the models?
If you haven't heard, yet another modeling competition show called The Face is about to make its debut and it has a few big names behind it: ANTM cast-off Nigel Barker, Coco Rocha, Karolina Kurkova, and Naomi Campbell. Campbell hopped on a conference call with me and some other journalists to chat about her new gig. Yes, I got to listen to Naomi Campbell talk on the phone for an hour. It was pretty unreal.
"My list [of what I won’t do] compared with any other model’s is insane," Coco Rocha says of her contract, which includes no nudity, no government or religious artifacts, and no working with other models who are posing in a way that doesn't jive with Rocha's values.
Nigel Barker, who was on America’s Next Top Model for 17 seasons (seventeen--think about that, people) returns to reality tv with Oxygen’s The Face on February 12. The fashion industry might not be shying away from television exposure now, but according to Barker, that wasn't always the case.
One contestant went to mortician school, and one was "Miss Transworld Wakeboarding" (which does not mean that she is transgendered)...
Oxygen's new model reality competition show The Face, starring Naomi Campbell, Karolina Kurkova and Coco Rocha, doesn't premiere until February--but these just-released promos give us a glimpse of what to expect from the show. Which is namely, drama. Or, should we say, "drama." Take a look. No phone throwing...yet.
One of the biggest names in modeling will be noticeably absent from this season's runways, and not because of an exclusive. According to her Twitter, Coco Rocha's sitting this season out to film The Face, Oxygen's forthcoming model competition reality show, where she's a judge along with Naomi Campbell and Karolina Kurkova.
What's better than one supermodel hosting a model reality TV show? Three supermodels of course! Particularly if those three in question are Naomi Camp
Since, after 18 seasons, America's Next Top Model is not exactly fresh anymore (or not until they bring in those new bloggers judges), it makes sense that Oxygen, the show's network, would want to broaden their horizons with a new modeling reality TV franchise. And, according to a press release we just received, they've already found their Tyra supermodel judge: None other than Naomi Campbell.
You can imagine the excitement I felt yesterday morning when I found out Katie Grand had launched her own website housing her complete works. Grand's new website features a signature quirky design that highlights her immaculate styling. From Pop to Love to Miu Miu to The Face to Dazed and Confused to Vuitton, Grand has literally done it all. And any fashion enthusiast will consider her new site a blessing. Usually stylists' work is hard to find without trolling The Fashion Spot for hours, and even then, it's usually incomplete. Grand's site is organized and encyclopedic, and will make your mouth water. We've pulled our 20 favorites from Grand's archive, but we recommend heading to KatieGrand.com and wasting a few hours, too.
Pop-up shops are all the rage this past year: Target, Puma, Pam Hogg, et cetera. But what about pop-up shops for other things? Books and magazines to
