Ever since we heard the news that Jason Wu was designing a contemporary line, Miss Wu, we've been counting down the days until the collection hits stores. While we still have to wait until January to get our hands on the New Wave-inspired goodies, Wu is giving us an exclusive first look at what's to come. The designer worked with director Todd Cole to create a mini-film, starring Miss Wu face Meghan Collison--and we have the exclusive teaser clip below. We also managed to snag a few minutes with the crazy-busy Wu (who also happens to have the flu :( ) to chat about what inspired him when creating the video, where he hopes the collection will go next and why he's not the serious guy everyone seems to think he is. Read on.
i-D's "Wise Issue" hits newsstands November 22, and we've already revealed Grace Coddington's cover, one of eight. Now she's got stiff competition from Girls star and creator (and eschewer of pants) Lena Dunham.
Elle Fanning is the ideal Rodarte muse. An ingenue with more than a little buzz surrounding her performance in Somewhere, the actress wears the Mulleavy sisters' clothes as easily as a second skin. Now she's gone and starred in a short firm for the label, reports WWD. “The Curve of Forgotten Things,” a collaboration between Kate and Laura, director Todd Cole, and the band Deerhunter, will debut on Nowness next Tuesday. Until then, savor these stills from the shoot.
