Twilight first shot Kristen to mainstream fame in 2008, when she was but a shy, awkward 18-year-old. Now, with a high fashion fragrance deal and a mega scandal under her belt, there's no doubt that K.Stew has certainly come into her own, both sartorially and otherwise. So, we thought this was the perfect opportunity to take a look back on all of Kristen's Twilight premiere looks from 2008 to 2012--and, um, grade them. Read on to see how she fared.
Is Kristen Stewart an equal opportunity exhibitionist? After baring her derriere in a sheer Zuhair Murad gown Monday night at the LA premiere of Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 2, the actress donned another look by the designer for her film's London debut--this time, giving some air time to her chest-al region.
It's safe to say the magazine industry has had some ups and downs this year, as we reported yesterday, with more downs than publishers like Conde Nast

For most of us, our earliest memories of Prom happened on the big screen. Movies like Pretty in Pink, Carrie and Never Been Kissed (depending on your age) all probably played at least a minor role in your expectations of the big night. And while some of those expectations may have been a wee misguided (we've never heard of a high school simultaneously breaking out into perfectly choreographed dance routines, for instance...) there's one area that the movies do offer some valid inspiration for: The wardrobes From Bella Swan's classy teal gown, to Romy and Michelle's hilarious Desperately Seek Susan outfits, relive some of the movie's best prom outfits--and how you can update them for today.
A knock-off of Bella Swan's wedding dress (Twilight's heroine, in case you've been living under a rock for three years) just went on sale (at left) and it got us thinking about memorable movie wedding dresses. Forget about people's princesses who wear too much eyeliner or wannabe princesses who get divorced after 72 days: Movies are where the real, unattainable, fantasy love-and-marriage happens. From the classic to the garish, we've rounded up some truly unforgettable wedding gowns from all different eras. Click through to see yards of tulle and lace and dreams and butterflies on gorgeous actresses. Sigh.

Lagerfeld - or better yet, Don Draper? The actor/director/producer/screenwriter/perfume model/failed Oscar host can now add ad-man to his resume - he's set to direct and shoot Seven For All Mankind's multimedia campaign for spring 2012. {WWD}
Marc Jacobs recently let slip that he'd been cast in a movie. According to Style.com, the designer said, "The [movie is] filming next week and I’m excited. I get to play a character that’s not myself at all.” While we're beyond excited to find out what Jacobs' will be playing, we can't help but fantasize about all the movies Jacobs could have been cast in, now that he's an actor and all. Here we take the chance to re-imagine some of our favorite classics, with Marc as the leading man.

Hélène Rochas: The widow of Marcel Rochas and former brand CEO, Hélène Rochas passed away last week at age 84. The original Rochas muse married her husband at 18 and helped him turn the couture house into a household name. A Rochas spokesperson called it "the end of a myth, of an era… She was the muse of one of the great couturiers, the last to remain alive from that era." {Grazia} Christian Louboutin Appealing Case Against YSL: Having won last week's hearing, YSL is now asking for a summary judgement, which could lead to the cancellation of Louboutin's trademark (established in 2008). Louboutin's lawyers are appealing the original case and fighting the summary judgement, with a hearing date set for August 19. {WWD}
Could Robert Pattinson be the next Karl Lagerfeld? Probably not. But the famously-bedheaded-star may have plans to follow in his footsteps (without the whole diet-coke-only-diet, we hope). Apparently, after R.Patz heard fellow Twilight star Kellan Lutz was launching his own Venice-beach-influenced line, Abbot + Main, the tween heartthrob felt inspired. "Rob and I were talking about doing a clothing line together!" Lutz told E reporters last week. "He didn't know I was doing mine," Lutz went on. "He's like ‘I should do one' and I'm like ‘Oh'. And he found out I was doing one and he's like ‘Really?' It was really funny. He wants to do one too." Wow, Kellan is way more articulate than we would have thought. The beefcake actor-turned-fashion-designer also offered R.Patz some suggestions on what Rob might call his line:
We all know there's a lot of unnecessary beauty products out there. The beauty of beauty, however, is that everyone has a different need. You may never use an eyelash curler, but your best friend may feel absolutely lost without it. The beauty industry can always convince someone that they need SOMETHING. That being said, we can conclusively say that no one needs any of the following items. From your pubes to your dog, these products and trends are completely ridiculous. (Of course, who ever thought people would be putting toxins into their faces to get rid of wrinkles?) Click through to check them out:
Earlier this month, ET reported that Zac Posen would design Bella Swan's wedding dress for the last Twilight film. The rumor swept the internet, and seemed to make sense as Stewart herself is a big fan of Posen's designs on the red carpet. But this past weekend Posen took to Twitter to deny the rumor. "Heard the bella/twilight rumor and it's just that. I design for real women like Kristen Stewart and Anna Kendrick," Posen tweeted. Hopefully Bella won't walk the aisle in a knock off, like Fleur Delacourt's McQueen copy in Harry Potter.
Keds Goes Back to The 90s: Keds has released a limited edition collection of sneakers called "Alternative to Everything." We're absolutely smitten with these 90s-inspired sneakers, which come in acid wash blue, gray denim and red plaid. {Refinery 29} Copied Dye Job: Christina Hendricks told Harper's Bazaar that way back when she was a model, she told Karen Elson that she should be a red head and gave Elson her formula. Now Elson's confessed that Hendrick's did, in fact, inspire her to go red. {The Cut} Lanvin x H&M Drama: When Jennifer Lopez and Madonna both asked to "borrow" (i.e. have it before anyone else) pieces from the Lanvin x H&M collection, they were told that no one was allowed to wear the collection before the runway show on November 18. If this is true, then why were a few British celebs pictured wearing pieces from the collection at London's Lanvin preview? Sure, Roisin Murphy and Sohpie Ellis-Bextor are celebs, but they're no Madonna. What gives? {Elle}
