Titans of the footwear industry mingled alongside shoe-obsessed celebs like Victor Cruz, Fergie, Miranda Kerr, and more at last night's 26th annual Footwear News Achievement Awards held at MoMa. But the real star of the night was shoe designer Stuart Weitzman, who received the Lifetime Achievement Award. "I am not so naive as to not know that there are thousands of people in this industry who work as hard as I do," said Weitzman of the honor. "Not everybody gets noticed, so it's pretty humbling to be noticed." Well, Weitzman has been noticed by everyone from Queen Elizabeth II to Beyonce, who recorded a special video congratulating him ("I've danced literally 1,000 miles in his amazing shoes," she shared). So is there anyone Weitzman wishes he could see in his designs?
