More than 5,000 questions came in--many of them off-the-wall bizarre--but obviously the brand chose questions that were more on-point and actually about, you know, the fragrance. Emmanuelle Alt To Take The Reigns At French Vogue?: WWD has it from "industry sources" that French Vogue's fashion director, Emmanuelle Alt is rumored to be on the short list to replace Carine Roitfeld as editor. Apparently Virginie Mouzat, Le Figaro's fashion editor, is still in the running as well. {WWD subscription required} Roland Mouret Does NOT Ghost Design For Victoria Beckham, OK?: There were always rumors that Mouret had a hand in designing Victoria Beckham's well-received collections and one journo recently asked him about it. Here's what he said: Mouret retorted with the following outburst: "Oh my God, that question! Politicians, movie stars, it's always the first things they want to know and I'm like, why? Why would I want to design a collection for Victoria Beckham? Yes she is a friend and yes she asks for advice and yes I told her the name of a pattern cutter, but she has lots of friends she asks for advice - Marc Jacobs.
