...and much, much more! TGIF, ladies. F'realz.
Vogue has once again broken its own health initiative by including 15-year-old Polish model Julie Borawska in the November issue of Vogue Mexico.
Anne V (full last name: Vyalitsyna) was on hand at yesterday's Model Alliance meeting, to share her personal story: A straight-A student who always wanted to model, she finally convinced her parents to let her do it. At the tender age of 15, she moved from a small village in Russia to New York City without her parents (it was "difficult enough" to get one Russian visa, she says, let alone three), just one week before 9/11 happened. All alone as a teenager in one of the world's biggest cities in the aftermath of one of the worst terrorist attacks, unable to speak one single word of English--it's hardly surprising that Anne had a rough time.
It's been a while since we checked in on Vogue's Health Initiative, which officially celebrated its one year anniversary in June. Introduced last May, the initiative outlined six tenets which would work to promote health and well-being in the pages of Vogue's 19 (now 20) international editions. The model Ondria Hardin's agent would not tell us her birthdate. But, today, Vogue UK confirms she was indeed 15 at the time.
Did Vogue China violate its own health initiative by putting Ondria Hardin, who reportedly just turned 16, in the magazine?

Not surprisingly, her boobs are the star of the show. Fashion Memes Promote Stylish Procrastination: We rounded up our ten favorite fashion-related memes for a good Friday LOL, and now we're asking you to revisit them because, let's face it, they're still hilarious. Menswear Trends For The Gals: A good suit or blazer is just as much a necessity for men as it is for women, but that's not where the gender bending ends. We took a look at some of the top street style trends at menswear fashion week and made them work for the girls. We wouldn't recommend that Nazi-inspired look that's been trending, though...
The new Vogue health initiative kicked into high gear this month, an excellent--albeit belated--move on the magazine's behalf. All 19 editions have
As you may have started to notice, all 19 editions of Vogue, from the U.S. to India, dedicated their June 2012 issues to health. The collective deci
