It looks like Miuccia Prada just can't get enough of New York City. Prada will return to the Big Apple for its Resort 2020 runway show on May 2, which was announced with a 15-second, save-the-date video — provided by British Vogue — on Thursday. After rejoining the resort calendar two years ago, Prada hasn't chosen too many far-flung destinations like its luxury counterparts: So far, shows have only been set inside Milan's visual arts exhibition space Fondazione Prada Osservatorio in 2017 and in New York City at Prada's Uptown headquarters earlier this year.

Prada's upcoming runway show will take place alongside that of Louis Vuitton, as Creative Director Nicolas Ghesquière will present the French house's Resort 2020 collection in New York City on May 8. The two luxury labels have also coincidentally timed their events to happen before and after the "Camp"-themed, Gucci-backed 2019 Met Gala — one of the biggest, most highly anticipated annual fashion events. However, we expect next year's Met to be especially magical, as we just might get the Harry Styles red carpet appearance we all deserve.

With so much in the works for the first week of May 2019, it seems like the fashion and celebrity crowd will have to start booking their New York City travel and accommodation very soon. We wouldn't be surprised if a handful of other designers try to get in on the action with a few events of their own around this time, too.
