There's currently a 100% chance of snow in New York City, meaning there is a 100% your gorgeous new Chloe coat isn't going to keep you warm. Luckily, we scoured the internet a put together a schedule of over 80 amazing shows you can stream to your computer right in the comfort of your own home...and in flannel pajamas.

Usually we see a runway makeup look incorporated within the context of the entire fashion show--the venue, the hair, and obviously the clothes all make an overall impression. We went behind-the-scenes at a runway makeup test the day before a show to see how the beauty look comes together. Along the way we picked up some valuable tips and tricks.
Yesterday was pretty exciting, fashion-wise: Alexander Wang, Prabal Gurung, and Altuzarra all showed collections, and we were lucky enough to be backstage with the beauty teams, too. Click through to check out the cognac ponytails at Wang, a super dramatic eye at Monique Lhuillier, the coolest teenagers ever at Chloe Sevigny for Opening Ceremony and tons more.
New show reviews and galleries are in! Check out Alexandre Herchcovitch, Susan Woo, and Ruffian.
Flowers have never looked as nice as they did at Alexandre Herchcovitch's fall 2013 show. Passing on the typical floral prints, Herchcovitch imagine
Day four of NYFW was basically heaven on earth. In the past 12 hours, we saw Chloe Sevigny modeling her own collection for Opening Ceremony, Alexander Wang prove that he's got the skills for Wanglenciaga Balenciaga, and went backstage at all the shows including Wang, Prabal Gurung, Louise Goldin, and more. Click through to see everything we saw!
New York is unreasonably cold right now. Like impending-blizzard-freeze-your-Rag & Bone-covered-butt-off cold. This is exactly why we, and fashionistas nowhere near New York, are praising the fashion gods (more like IMG & various PR people) for the glorious amount of New York fashion week shows livestreaming this week. We wrangled 89 shows (89!) and presentations to tune into over the course of the next week...with even more coming in! The best part? You won't be judged for taking in these shows in your pjs over some popcorn or pizza or half a bottle of wine... See any shows we missed? Let us know!
We're already excited for next spring after seeing the collections, and you will be too once you check them out! Alexandre Herchcovitch found his inspiration in Boy George, Jonathan Simkhai makes us wish we could surf, and Monique Lhuillier found her edge.
The Clothes: The 80s! Or rather, Boy George! Models strutted down the runway in pinpoint stilettos and oversized, plaid or checked ensembles, some wit

One thing you can usually expect from Alexandre Herchcovitch is color, and lots of it. Though this season the Brazilian designer went the opposite ro
Brazil is in a financial boom right now while other countries and regions are trying to dig out of near-recessions. And what better way to celebrate a booming economy than with a Project Runway franchise? Truly the way to know you've arrived! Brazil's Project Runway, called Projeto Fashion, follows the same formula as the other franchises (which in addition to the US have run in Korea, Australia, Latin America and Canada). There are 12 designers in this inaugural season, most of whom are in their early 20s, with a lone 39-year-old man representing the "old" crowd (his bio says he loves Madonna). The usual quirky backgrounds exist--after all, this is still reality TV. While most have gone to or are still attending fashion school, there's a miner, a former beauty contestant, and a "super Christian" (that's a Google translation from the original Portuguese) who is letting God guide her designs. Also--and I'm not sure if this represents the population at-large in Brazil--three of the six male designers have pretty decently sized ear gauges.
SAO PAULO--We usually see Alexander Herchcovitch's shows in New York--he's been showing in the city since the early oughts. But the Sao Paulo native also shows in his hometown, so we got an early look at what we'll be seeing from him in a few months. For spring, the always bold designer (remember that football-inspired collection?) sent out a surprisingly subdued, ultra-feminine collection of ladylike silk dresses embroidered and printed with flowers. His color palate may well have been taken from an Easter egg basket. Waists were nipped and tied up in bows. But this is Herchcovitch after all, and the collection stopped short of saccharin. Flouncy silk day dresses got a sporty kick when paired with matching embroidered silk baseball caps, and flashes of poppy livened up the Easter basket. So did the cleavage on display in bustier tops and one-piece swimsuits. Oh, and a lone black dress closed the show. Click through for photos and video of the show.
The Fall 2011 shows are 75% over, and we're pretty comfortable calling braids a world-wide trend. Can we blame/credit Alex Wang's S/S 2010 collection for the current plaitmania? Hard to say, but you couldn't go more than 50 feet without seeing a braided model. They were loose and boho at Rag and Bone and Erdem (and Mara Hoffman topped hers with turbans). Rachel Roy and Erin Fetherston were channeling the St.Pauli Girl (or yodelers). Alexandre Herchcovitch and Nanette Lepore got complicated with their braided updos, and Etro flirted with cornrows.
Alexandre Herchcovitch's vibrant but moody spring collection was a departure from last season's embellished, urban wears. The collection was made up almost entirely of sheath dresses with futuristic shapes, many of which had dramatic but less-than-flattering puff sleeves and pleated backs. The color scheme was bright and fun but, on such sophisticated silhouettes, not to be taken lightly. While Herchcovitch did some of this last spring, this time the pieces were simpler. But perhaps better executed. Only a few looks conformed to the muted color scheme we keep seeing. The rest featured either bold pixelized graphics or shiny jewel-toned ombre (which was not as successful, in my opinion). Overall, the inspiration from abstract expressionist artists Mark Rothko and Barnett Newman was evident and well-interpreted. The shapes were impressive and interesting, but not the most wearable.
